  1. This file contains known bugs and compatibility problems of the dmsdos 
  2. filesystem driver. This file does *not* contain bugs that have been fixed in
  3. the actual version.

  5. - Real moves across CFVs fail. Fix rather impossible because you cannot move
  6.   across partitions. Copy and delete instead.
  7.  
  8. - Dmsdos is incompatible with the Win95 compression agent and its compression
  9.   scheme 'Ultra' (SQ-0-0). You cannot read files that have been 'Ultra'
  10.   compressed (Need Doc to fix this problem!). Recompress to 'High'.

  12. - This release cannot handle fragmented clusters on drivespace 3 disks. I.e.
  13.   you can't read them. Dmsdos does not create fragmented clusters. (Need
  14.   Doc to fix this problem!). (Problem was never reported, but it's
  15.   theoretically possible - you may have to defragment your disk)

  17. - Long filename handling in the compressed partitions is still primitive
  18.   (no unicode translation, only US-ASCII characters are supposed to work).

  20. - The new dmsdos daemon may cause strange side effects when the filesystem
  21.   gets full. Read docs for details.

  23. - Win95 drivespace 3 users WARNING: I got reports about serious problems
  24.   in previous dmsdos versions. I've changed the code, but it's currently
  25.   unsure if dmsdos can handle each strange situation that might occur under
  26.   screwy circumstances. So be prepaired for failure and backup before.

  28. - Linux 1.3.xx support is no longer maintained though the INSTALL_1.3.x
  29.   scripts are still part of this release. Use Linux 2.0 if it doesn't work.
